First off, happy Labor Day Laborers. According to the US Department of Labor, this is the official purpose and origin of Labor Day:
Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country. – US DOL
So what better way to celebrate Labor Day than to actually work. Ha ha. I’m mowing the lawn and catching a mouse. A single girl’s dream job on Labor Day. Good thing I have some help today.
