Bachelor Pad Spelling Bitilasana

My recap today is going to be short because I didn’t watch the show until 1am and I was intermittently falling asleep, plus I’m not feeling great today!

Here’s what I manged to remember:

Chris and Sarah made it into this week… and they were so proud of themselves. They went on to win the Bachelor Pad Spelling Bee- a true accomplishment on its own- considering all of these couples looked like idiots spelling simple words. As a result they got some kind of romantic getaway night. Which I think I slept through the majority of it. Chris is still not over Emily… although he may be counting his blessings as rumor has it Em is hooking up with our own local Matt Leinert! Wait, wasn’t Ali linked to him too?

I haven’t seen her in the hood, but there have been Kalon sightings in Manhattan Beach as of late- sans Lindzi. They were booted by default since Blakeley and Tony were safe, and Jac and Ed were safe. I hear they’re still together. Which is good, I guess, because the last time someone bailed on his limo for his lady’s was Ames for Jackie, and he promptly dumped her a week later.

Nick and Rachel partnered up. But it was kind of annoying to watch Rachel so droopy over losing Michael. I am not a fan of Nick’s. He just seems dull. No substance, nothing to really write home about.

Blakeley and Tony the most boring love story alive. No one wants to watch them make out.

Jaclyn and Ed‘s “romantic” trip… was absolutely revolting to watch. She spends about 3/4 of it talking about how she wants a relationship and if he’s not gonna give it, she’ll put on the brakes. She doesn’t want to be a whore (she says about 8 times), darn it!  Then he says one thing about being close to her in the house, and they’re off to shackin it up one second later. So much for not wanting to be a whore. Ew. I felt gross just watching that whole thing go down.

Kalon and Lindzi out… only four couples left standing- Tony and Blakeley, Ed and Jac, Chris and Sarah, Nick and Rachel. Thank goodness there’s only a couple more weeks of this mindlessness.

Bitilasana- Cow Pose

Step by Step

Start on your hands and knees in a “tabletop” position. Make sure your knees are set directly below your hips and your wrists, elbows and shoulders are in line and perpendicular to the floor. Center your head in a neutral position, eyes looking at the floor.

As you inhale, lift your sitting bones and chest toward the ceiling, allowing your belly to sink toward the floor. Lift your head to look straight forward.

Exhale, coming back to neutral “tabletop” position on your hands and knees. Repeat 10 to 20 times.

This pose is often paired with Cat Pose on the exhale for a gentle, flowing vinyasa.
